Despite the bad press he's been getting lately, Justin Bieber appears to be a good kid at heart. He showed that Tuesday night by giving free concert tickets to victims of the deadly tornado in Oklahoma.
Newson6.com reports that the Bieb donated 200 tickets to Tuesday night's sold-out show at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City to the victims: specifically those who students whose schools which were destroyed by the tornado in nearby Moore.
Justin tweeted , "We got OKC tonight.. held 200 tickets for students from some of the schools recently destroyed. Hope they enjoy the show."
A fan told Newson6.com, "That's so caring and thoughtful, and that goes to show that everybody out there is giving their all for Oklahoma, and they're really thinking about doing good for us."
Justin also took the opportunity to strike back at all his negative press, tweeting, "interesting how some people in the media wanna take shots at me for no reason. all good. keeping it positive over here. all about the music."
He added, "some decisions in life arent easy...but nothing great was ever easy. be great. in life you gotta know who you are. know your heart. love the people that love you. and be kind. be GREAT!" He posted the hashtag #wwjd, which means "What would Jesus do."
