GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Green Bay Police are investigating the deaths of a husband and wife who were found in their home on the city's west side Thursday morning.
The couple, a 49-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, were apparently just on vacation but the man hadn't returned to work for two days.
The man's employer came to check on him shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday at 3125 West Point Road and saw two bodies through a bedroom window.
Police say there is no obvious cause of death or trauma and an autopsy is being performed.
A next door neighbor says he was told by police that no guns were involved. That neighbor also described the man as a veteran and his wife suffered from depression.
The couple have been long-time residents of the neighborhood.
Their identities are not being released until family can be notified.
