The Wisconsin Badgers hardly looked like a potential Big Ten power during their non-conference schedule with losses to Florida and Marquette but on Tuesday night, Bucky served notice with a hard fought, well played 64-59 victory over second ranked Indiana in Bloomington to take over sole posession of first place in the conference race. Ryan Evans led four in double figures with 13 points. Traevon Jackson added 11 before fouling out late. Cody Zeller was nearly unstoppable for the Hoosiers in the first half, hitting all 8 of his field goal attempts in scoring 18 points. Wisconsin held him to three after intermission. A 9-0 burst gave Wisconsin an 8 point lead and they were able to hang on with much better than their team average shooting from the free throw line. The Badgers, unranked, are now 13-4 overall and the only 4-0 team in the conference. Indiana falls to 15-2 and 3-1 in the conference. Next up for Wisconsin is a trip to Iowa on Saturday.
