MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - In an unusual move, the Wisconsin Assembly passed the proposed two-year state budget without much of a debate. The abrupt vote was 55-42. Adele has shied away from the spotlight since she reportedly gave birth to her first child in October. But she will return to the public eye this weekend.
People magazine reports Adele will attend the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills this Sunday. She is nominated for best original song, for the theme to the James Bond film Skyfall .
The ceremony will mark her first public appearance since the British singer and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki , welcomed their son.
