NEW LONDON, WI (WSAU) -  A crash involving a Jeep and a semi has left an Antigo woman hospitalized. Wisconsin State Patrol, deputies from Waupaca and Outagamie counties, and the New London police responded to the crash on Highway 45 at Shaky Lake Road.

Officers say the 45-year-old woman was driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound when she hit the Freightliner tractor head-on just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. She was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with life threatening injuries. The truck driver was not seriously injured.

Highway 45 was closed for over an hour while the wreckage was cleared.
