CADOTT, WI (WSAU) -  Highway 27 was shut down for a while Monday morning after a truck hooked overhead power lines, and left a string of downed wires in its path. Chippewa County deputies say the truck had a lift or boom, and caught the lines while northbound leaving Cadott. The wires were damaged for just over half a mile to County Highway O. The road was closed between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. while crews made sure the wires had no live power and were removed from the roadway.
