The Marquette Golden Eagles rang in the new year with a dramatic 82-76 overtime victory against Connecticut at the Bradley Center Tuesday night. Trailing as the clock was winding down, Junior Cadougan drilled a three point shot as the buzzer sounded sending the game into overtime. It was the first 3 point field goal for the Golden Eagles after they missed all 14 in regulation. Cadougan finished with 18 points, Vander Blue added 13 as Marquette improved to 10-3, winning it's 17th consecutive game at home.
