Taylor Swift is being sued over money she reportedly received for a Canadian festival performance that never took place. According to TMZ , Taylor was fronted $2.5 million to perform at the Capital Hoedown in Ottawa last August, but the event was canceled before it took place. In a lawsuit filed in federal court in New York, the ticket company that had to refund $1.8 million in tickets for the festival is suing Taylor to cover those refund costs.
Taylor's rep tells TMZ she never had a deal with the ticket company and hasn't seen the lawsuit yet.
