Junior guard Kam Cerroni has left the UW Green Bay mens basketball program. He informed head coach Brian Wardle of his decision Wednesday night and did not make the trip for tonight's game at Cleveland State. Cerroni, from Sussex-Hamilton high school, led the Horizon League in three point shooting as a sophomore but saw his playing time reduced significantly this year. Cerroni told the Green Bay Press Gazette the deicision was not over few minutes, but differences with the program and coach Wardle. He was recruited by former GB coach Tod Kowalczyk. Wardle issued a statement, "This is a sad time for all of us to hear Kam's decision not to remain a part of this basketball program. On behalf of our staff, I thank him for being a part of our program and wish him all the best in his future. Ceronni would have one year of eligibility remaining if he decides to play elsewhere.
