Bucky stuns #3 Michigan Saturday in overtime, 65-62

MADISON, WI  (WSAU)  -  It looked like Michigan was going to win Saturday as time ran out, but Wisconsin's Ben Brust hit a shot from just inside midcourt to tie the game as the game clock expired forcing overtime at the Kohl Center.  Brust had another tie-breaking 3 with less than 40 seconds left in overtime, and Wisconsin beat No. 3 Michigan 65-62.

Brust scored 14 points for the Badgers, who are now 17-7 overall and 8-3 in the Big Ten Conference.  Jared Berggren added 13.

The Wolverines were led by Trey Burke's 19 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 18 including a big contested 3-pointer to put the Wolverines up 65-52 with less than 3 seconds left in regulation.

In the final seconds of regulation, Brust took the inbounds pass near halfcourt, dribbled once and launched just inside halfcourt getting nothing but net to tie the game as the horn sounded.  He later hit the winning 3-pointer with under 40 seconds in the overtime.

Michigan's Burke missed a 3 on the other end, and Wisconsin got the rebound and hung on as the clock expired in overtime for the win.  The Wisconsin fans stormed the court when the clock ran out.

Michigan is now 21-3 overall, 8-3 in the Big Ten.
