How did Beyoncé celebrate her successful Super Bowl halftime performance? By announcing a world tour just hours later.

Late Sunday night, the details of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour were revealed. The name of the tour is an obvious nod to the fact that she's married to Jay-Z , whose birth name is Shawn Carter .

The North American leg of the tour begins in Los Angeles on June 28. It wraps up August 3 in Brooklyn, New York, at the Barclays Center, where Jay's Brooklyn Nets basketball team plays. The couple also has a home in Brooklyn.

Tickets for most of the North American tour dates go on sale next week. Check Beyonce.com for more information.

A European tour that will visit 20 cities begins April 15, in Serbia, and runs through May 29, in Sweden.
