PESHTIGO, WI (WTAQ) - Police in Peshtigo are on the lookout for a suspect in an attempted pharmacy robbery.

Authorities say it happened Sunday morning at the Peshtigo Pharmacy on French Street.

Officials say a man entered the pharmacy with a kitchen knife and attempted to rob the store.

He wasn't able to get anything and escaped the pharmacy in an unknown direction.

Cops describe the suspect as a Caucasian man in his early to mid 20s, about 6'1" to 6'3" in height. Officials say he has a slightly stockier build and blond, curly hair. He was wearing a knit hat, a gray or dark blue jacket, sunglasses, jeans and work boots. The man was carrying a black backpack.

Police say they aren't able to comment on any injuries from the incident at this time.
