It's no wonder that Kelly Clarkson was invited to perform at President Obama's inauguration: his wife is quite a fan.
First lady Michelle Obama tells People magazine that out of all the songs nominated for Grammys this year, her favorite is Kelly's #1 hit, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)." She tells the magazine, "It's an empowering song with a positive message."
Soon, Mrs. Obama may join Kelly in the annals of Grammy history: she's nominated for her own trophy this year, in the Best Spoken Word Album category, for her gardening book American Grown . The president, however, already has two Grammys, both in that same category, for his own books.
