Miley Cyrus goes retro on the cover of her upcoming album, Bangerz .
Miley revealed the artwork on Twitter Saturday night. It features her posing sideways in a black outfit, with her face turned to the camera and her right hand touching her mouth. Behind her are pictures of palm trees and a pink neon sign that reads, "Bangerz." Basically, the artwork looks as if it had been designed in the 1980s.
Miley wrote in her tweet, "You know the vintage YSL don't stay on for long #bangerz #october8."
Also over the weekend, Miley's new single, a heartbreak ballad titled "Wrecking Ball," hit the Internet, though at last check it had been pulled by her record label. The song is the follow-up to her hit "We Can't Stop," which she performed at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night.
As Miley mentioned in her tweet, Bangerz will be released October 8.
