Milwaukee has had a hard time finding ways to beat the St. Louis Cardinals this year but they turned to an ex-Cardinal and singled St. Louis to death in Tuesday night's 6-3 victory at Miller Park. Despite falling behind 3-0, former Redbird Kyle Lohse hung tough, working six innings, allowing the three runs on six hits with four strikeouts to improve to 9-8 on the season and best his ex-team for the first time. The Brewers offense came to life with a five run rally in the fourth, scoring all their runs with just singles off loser Lance Lynn. Sean Halton, playing first base for Juan Francisco, went two for three with three runs batted in. Milwaukee (55-71) will send Tom Gorzelany to the mound in search of a series win Wednesday afternoon. Pre-game coverage begins at 12:35 PM on WNFL.
