Brewers clipped by Cards

The Milwaukee Brewers got home runs from Nori Aoki and Aramis Ramirez but it wasn't enough as the St. Louis Cadinals opened a three game series at Miller Park with an 8-5 victory Monday night.  Yadier Molina had four hits including a home run and John Jay hit a two run shot off starter Marco Estrada.  The Brewers fought back with Ramirez hitting his first homer since June, a two run blast in the bottom of the 7th that gave Milwaukee a 5-4 lead.   The Cardinals rallied for four runs in the 8th off loser Brandon Kintzler.   Matt Carpenter delivered the go ahead run scoring single.  The Brewers fall to 54-71 and drop back into the NL Central basement.  Kyle Lohse will face his former team in game two of the series Tuesday night.  Pre game coverage begins at 6:35 PM on WTAQ.
