NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) - Homeowners within a three block stretch of a Neenah street will have no water for 72 hours, as the officials try to find the source of contaminated water that has plagued the area for the past week.
Neenah Water Utility says it will shut off the water between the 500 to 700 block of South Commercial Street.
For most of last week, around 300 residents were under a boil water advisory after water samples tested positive for coliform bacteria.
On Friday, the water utility narrowed the number of affected residents down to 30 homes. Crews also flushed water hydrants in the area.
The Red Cross will hand out free bottled water to effected homeowners.
The water supply will be shut off between noon on Monday and noon on Wednesday.
