CHICAGO (WTAQ) - Speaking at a global conference in Chicago, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has presented this state as a leader in bioscience.
Walker was in the Windy City Tuesday for the annual BIO International Convention.
It runs through Thursday, with more than 50 Wisconsin companies, educators, non-profit groups and government agencies attending.
Those attending the event are there to talk about trends in pharmaceuticals, energy production and agriculture, along with many other topics.
Walker says the conference offers Wisconsin a chance to promote its bioscience community and present the state as a location for growth.
