The Milwaukee Brewers winning streak started on the road, carried through a pair of sweeps at Miller Park and continued back on the road in San Diego. Make it 8 straight for the Crew, 7-1 winners over the Padres in San Diego. The streak signature is scoring early and often. The Brewers put up five runs in the first inning against Jason Marquis. Ryan Braun launched a two run homer and Yuniesky Betancourt added a three run blast. Braun would all an RBI single as the Brewers rolled. Kyle Lohse picked up his first victory as a Brewer, working five innings and giving up one run. He had to be removed from the game when he dislocated the pinkie finger on his left hand. Manager Ron Roenicke said the finger was snapped back into place and he doesn't think Lohse will have to miss a start. Milwaukee (10-8) sends Yovani Gallardo to the mound in game two of the series Tuesday night.
