Ashwaubenon stabbing suspect may be armed, fled state


ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly stabbed another man in Ashwaubenon early Sunday.

The suspect has been identified as 50-year-old Kenneth H. Matthews of Green Bay and as of Monday, Ashwaubenon Public Safety believe he may have fled the state. 

Authorities say he may be armed with a handgun and operating a motorcycle.

Officials say it happened in the 2600 block of Babcock Road around 3:15 a.m. 

Authorities say a 32-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen during a fight. Officials say he was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
