It was the second night of battle rounds on NBC's The Voice Tuesday night. Once again, coaches Adam Levine , Blake Shelton , Shakira and Usher chose two artists from his or her respective team to compete against one another in a duet.

Sheryl Crow was back to help Blake in rehearsals; Lady Antebellum 's Hillary Scott served as a mentor for Team Adam; Good Charlotte 's Joel Madden assisted Shakira's crew; and Pharrell Williams worked with Usher's artists.

The one-hour episode began with two contestants from Team Adam squaring off: 43-year-old country singer Michael Austin and South Carolina firefighter Warren Stone . They performed Jason Aldean 's "My Kinda Party." Adam liked what he heard from both men, but he preferred the "diversity" in Warren's voice and named him the winner. The other coaches did not use a "save" on Michael.

Usher grew frustrated with Jeff Lewis after the artist laughed during an unimpressive rehearsal. Jeff and Josiah Hawley tackled "Roxanne" by The Police . Both Shakira and Adam thought the artists didn't do the song justice. Usher picked Josiah, explaining later to the cameras that Josiah "rose to the occasion." Jeff was sent home.

Afterward, The Voice quickly recapped the results of three more battles:

Team Blake -- Grace Askew defeated Trevor Davis .

Team Usher -- Audrey Karrasch triumphed over Jamila Thompson .

Team Shakira -- Tawnya Reynolds was named the winner over Mark Andrew .

In the final battle of the night, Blake pitted two teens against one another: 18-year-old Caroline Glaser and 16-year-old Texan Danielle Bradbery . He assigned them the Corinne Bailey Rae hit "Put Your Records On." Blake said he had a difficult decision on his hands, but he selected Danielle.  Usher and Adam both attempted to steal Caroline; she chose to join Team Adam.

The battle rounds continue next Monday night on NBC.
