Green Bay Gamblers Head Coach Derek Lalonde is interviewing this week for the head coaching job at the University of Denver. Lalonde spent five years as an assistant to recently fired head coach George Gwozdecky before coming to Green Bay two seasons ago. He led the Gamblers to the USHL Anderson and Clark Cup titles last year and has a record of 84-32-8 in Green Bay. Lalonde will return to the bench this weekend as Green Bay has a key, two game series with Muskegon to close the regular season. The Gamblers need one victory to secure second place in the Eastern Conference and home ice advantage for the first round of the Clark Cup playoffs. The same teams split two games last weekend in Muskegon. Face off both Friday and Saturday night at the Resch Center is at 7:05 PM.
