The Wisconsin TimberRattlers took the opening game of the Midwest League Championship series at Fox Cities Stadium Wednesday night, beating the Fort Wayne TinCaps 3-2 in 10 innings. Rafael Neda scored the winning run on a wild pitch. Wisconsin's first run also came home on an errant pitch. In the first inning, Brandon Macias scored all the way from second base on a wild pitch. Neda would add an RBI double in the fourth inning. Starter Jacob Barnes didn't get the decision but worked seven strong innings, allowing only 4 hits and two runs, one of them was unearned. Chad Pierce is slated to work game two in the best of five series but rain is forecast for the Fox Valley Thursday afternoon.
