GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - There’s a reason that Boys II Men sang the National Anthem before last Sunday’s Packer game in Green Bay.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers – a good friend of Boys’ singer Nathan Morris – asked the group to sing. And the two made a bet that the quarterback lost.
Morris is a big San Francisco 49’ers fan, and he would have worn a Packers’ jersey all of this week had Green Bay won. But the Pack lost, so Rodgers had to wear a 49’ers jersey during the week.
That hasn’t happened yet, and Morris says he’ll give Rodgers a pass for now – but only because the quarterback is in a hurry to get ready for the Packers’ next game on Thursday night at home against Chicago.
After that, Green Bay has 11 days until its following game at Seattle on September 24th. So you would think it would give Rodgers plenty of time to pay off the bet then.
