After a disappointing showing at Oregon State last Saturday, a 10-7 loss to the Beavers in which the Wisconsin Badgers gained only 207 yards, head coach Brett Bielema on Monday made a bold move by firing offensive line coach Mike Markuson after just two games. Markuson replaced longtime offensvie line assistant Bob Bostad who left after last season's Rose Bowl. Even more surprisingly, Bielema replaced Markuson with graduate assistant Burt Miller, in just his second year in the program. The Badgers replaced six coaches during the off-season including offensive coordinator Matt Canada who took over for Paul Chryst who became the head coach at the University of Pittsburgh. The remaining five new staffers will stay on as Wisconsin (1-1) returns home Saturday night to face Utah State at Camp Randall Stadium.
