ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - It's back to the campaign trail for the Republican presidential ticket in the battleground state of Wisconsin.
Vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan told hundreds of supporters at FulFillNet in Ashwaubenon that it's not too late to turn the country around.
"We can save medicare and social security, we can cut spending to get this budget balanced and pay off this debt," says Ryan. "We can get behind small businesses and get people back to work."
Romney's running mate said people should vote early, and then spend the weekend encouraging other people to vote on November 6th.
"Let's wake up Wednesday morning knowing we did everything we possibly could, because, as we all know, Wisconsin is one of those critical battleground states," Ryan said.
The Janesville Congressman says he and Mitt Romney are best suited to tackle the nation's most serious problems. Ryan also called Wisconsin a critical state in this high stakes election.
