Two Milwaukee Brewers have filed paperwork with Major League Baseball to become off-season free agents. Starting pitcher Shaun Marcum and reliever Francisco Rodriguez both have expiring contracts. It's almost a certainty the Brewers won't be active in re-signing either player. The Brewers also announced they have removed three players from the 60 day disabled list and put them back on their off-season active roster. Infielder Mat Gamel, shortstop Alex Gonzalez and pitcher Chris Narverson all missed significant time this past season because of injury.
