fun. is extending their North American tour into 2013. The band has just announced they’ve added another string of shows to support their latest release, Some Nights . That outing begins on January 23 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul and will makes stops in Detroit, Boston, Seattle and Austin, among other cities.

Pre-sale tickets for all the newly-announced shows are available now at Fun.ArtistArena.com .  Remaining tickets will be available to the general public on Friday.

In addition to announcing new tour dates, the band has released the new video for “ Carry On ,” the new single from Some Nights .  The clip shows the band performing the track both on stage and in a bar, mixed with footage of the guys running around their hometown of New York City.

In other fun. news, the band will make their Saturday Night Live debut on November 3 as the show's musical guest.  Louie actor Louis C.K. will serve as the host for that episode.
