Justin Bieber fans might be expected to jump for joy at the news that a nude photo of their hero has surfaced online, but instead they're rushing to brand the photo a fake.
After Justin tweeted that he'd been robbed of a camera and computer with "personal footage" earlier this week, the photo -- which only shows a nude male torso -- surfaced on Twitter with claims that it was The Bieb. But as Zap2It.com reports, fans have been painstakingly comparing the NSFW snapshot to actual pictures of Justin's body, and they're calling b.s. on the whole thing.
According to Zap2It.com, fans say that that particular photo has been floating around online for several months, so it can't have been purloined from Justin's newly-stolen camera. What's more, one fan insists that the belly-button in the picture doesn't match Justin's, while another claims that the nipples aren't the right shape. And, while the mystery torso does have a bird tattoo on the hip, just like Justin's that could easily be faked or Photoshopped.
So far, Justin hasn't reacted to the photo on Twitter, and a request for comment from his publicist from ABC News Radio has gone unanswered. What we really need is for Selena Gomez to step in and deny it's Justin, based on personal experience. Then, we could all move on with our lives.
