APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Outagamie County's executive is rolling out his proposed 2013 budget.
Tom Nelson says the nearly $200 million plan cut spending by about $32 million.
"If you look at with operation ongoing expenses as well as capitol expenses," Nelson says, "This overall, overall budget is actually $32 million less than last year."
He says part of the plan will drop the property tax rate. If passed, the owner of a $150,000 home will see taxes drop by a $1.75.
County employees would get a 1% pay raise. There are also infrastructure improvements in the plan.
The county board gets a look at it October 9th and there is a public hearing on the 29th.
