Knicks knock down Bucks

by

Carmello Anthony was too much for the Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night at the Bradley Center as New York defeated the Bucks 102-88.  Anthony poured in 29 points with 8 assists as the Knicks improved to an Eastern Division leading 10-4 on the season.  Former Marquette forward Steve Novak added 19.  New York pulled away outscoring the Bucks 65-44 over the middle two quarters.  Brandon Jennings and Beno Udrih shared scoring honors for Milwaukee (7-6) with 18 points each.  The Bucks maintained a half game lead on Chicago in the Central Division standings.  The Bucks return to action Friday night in Minneapolis against the Minnesota Tiimberwolves.
