EAST TROY, WI (WTAQ) - The FAA is helping investigate the weekend crash of an experimental airplane near a private air-strip in southeast Wisconsin.
79-year-old Ronald Scott of East Troy was taken to a Waukesha hospital with a head injury. His condition was not disclosed.
Walworth County authorities said Scott was trying to land his 1969 Scott-built XS-One when it crashed near a grassy airstrip at Air Troy Estates near East Troy.
The crash occurred Saturday afternoon. Walworth County sheriff’s deputies are working with federal officials on an investigation.
