It may seem odd, but it seems Lady Gaga has always wanted to appear in a Disney movie -- and now she's done it. Sort of.
Gaga wrote on Twitter , "it is my LIFE DREAM to be in a Disney movie...im one step closer!!! :)" She then included a link to Electric Holiday , the short animated film that swanky New York City department store Barneys has made the centerpiece of its holiday window display.
As previously reported, the movie is a collaboration with Disney, and features Minnie Mouse dreaming of being a fashionista. As she travels to Paris, she runs into iconic fashion figures, including an animated version of Gaga herself.
Gaga appears one minute, 17 seconds into the film, as Minnie arrives in Paris and stumbles onto a group of paparazzi photographing famous people. Gaga is shown posing in a purple dress and sky-high blonde hair as Minnie tiptoes behind her and into a tent where models are getting ready. We see Goofy , Cruella de Vil , Snow White , Mickey , Daisy Duck , Tinkerbell and other Disney characters as well.
Meanwhile, Gaga continues to hype her new video project, "Cake," which is a far cry from the squeaky-clean Electric Holiday .
A 15-second teaser for the video, which goes along with a rap song she released earlier this year, was directed by her photographer pal Terry Richardson . It shows her splashing in a tub with two women and cavorting in her underwear. No word on when the full-length video will appear, but she also posted a photo of herself posing provocatively on top of the remains of a giant cake, along with the words, "The real CAKE isn't HAVING what you want, It's DOING what you want."
