APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - Appleton police are looking for a suspect who broke into a family’s apartment demanding drugs at gun point. 

Police responded to a call around 12:35 a.m. this morning in the 400 block of North Bennett Street. 

The man forced his way in, showed a handgun, and demanded drugs. 

There was a man, woman and two kids in the apartment at the time. 

The suspect fled after being told there were no drugs in the apartment. 

Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old white male with a thin build.
