Kelly Clarkson 's upcoming greatest hits album, Chapter One , is now available for pre-order on her website, and she's also offering fans a special treat along with it: an exclusive EP with her versions of some of her favorite songs.
The EP is called The Smoakstack Sessions -- Vol 2, and it's a sequel to a similar EP she put out when she released her album Stronger a year ago. Volume 1 featured acoustic performances of songs from Stronger and her previous album, as well as a cover of Bonnie Raitt 's "I Can't Make You Love Me." Volume 2 is made up entirely of cover versions of some of Kelly's favorite songs.
Among the tracks included on Volume 2 are Kelly's versions of Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved a Man"; "Your Cheatin' Heart" by country music legend Hank Williams Sr .; Patsy Cline 's "Walking After Midnight"; and a medley of Alanis Morissette 's song "That I Would Be Good" and "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon .
Of course, fans are still hoping that Kelly will release an album compiling all the cool cover versions she sang during her Stronger tour, but as of right now, there are no plans to do that.
