ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ) - Governor Scott Walker says Wisconsin is a must win for President Obama.
Speaking with volunteer and supporters at a Republican campaign office in Allouez Thursday, Walker says it’s clear that Obama’s internal polling shows Wisconsin is a dead heat. Walker notes that’s why Obama has three stops in the state over a five day span.
Walker brushed off the final Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday that shows Mitt Romney eight points behind Obama in the state, 51 to 43%. Walker says it’s an outlier and that the only poll that matters is the one on Election Day.
Walker says Wisconsin will save America. He believes the state is ground zero and the new Ohio. The Governor believes that Wisconsin will swing for Romney and will probably decide the presidency and Senate majority.
