TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ) - An Ashwaubenon company held a job fair in Two Rivers Friday, in hopes of attracting workers displaced by layoffs at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Velocity Machine says the biggest job opening at the company will be for CNC machinists.

Velocity vice president Kevin Shaver says there may be a learning curve for some of the new hires, but training will be available for people with a strong work ethic.

However, Shaver says there only about a dozen open spots right now at his company, and more than 300 workers are going to be cut from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
