APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - A man from Appleton pled not guilty Tuesday to charges he failed to give his baby daughter enough food.

35-year-old Christopher Sultze allegedly told a social worker that he didn't want obese children.

Sultze's wife Mary will stand trial on similar charges.

Prosecutors say the girl had gained 3 pounds in 14 months.

Christopher Sultze’s trial is set to begin March 7.
