MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - Fewer Wisconsinites are having trouble keeping up with their mortgages.
CoreLogic, a national real estate research firm, said 1.78 percent of Wisconsin homes were in foreclosure in October – down from 2.36 percent in the same month of 2011.
Also, fewer Wisconsinites are delinquent – which means they’re more than 90 days behind on their mortgage payments.
CoreLogic said 4.13 percent of homeowners were delinquent in October, down from 4.66 percent the previous year.
