GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - One student is under arrest in connection with a rumored threat against Green Bay Preble High School.

The Green Bay Area Public School District says police have been investigating rumors found on social media sites. Police say that none of the rumors are credible.

Late Thursday night, authorities were able to track down the source of one of those threats and that student was arrested early Friday morning.

Charges are being sought against the student, who also faces possible disciplinary action from the district. the student has been released to parents.

The district did not identify the student, citing the student's age.
