Each year, Forbes magazine rounds up a list of some of the hottest young achievers in a variety of fields for its "30 Under 30" list.   In the field of music, some of those who Forbes is singling out this year include Bruno Mars , Adele , Katy Perry and Taylor Swift .

The magazine says those chosen in each of 15 categories "represent the entrepreneurial, creative and intellectual best of their generation." Also on the Forbes list this year for music:  Justin Bieber , Ke$ha , Drake , Rihanna , One Direction , Wiz Khalifa , Frank Ocean , rapper Mac Miller, Calvin Harris, Skylar Grey and, of course, Lady Gaga .
