MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - The new Razorbacks coach says hiring former Wisconsin assistant Charlie Partridge will help expand the recruiting base at the University of Arkansas.

Bret Bielema announced the hiring of Partridge as defensive line coach Saturday.

Bielema and Partridge coached together in Madison for 5 years, including three straight Rose Bowl trips.

Partridge is the second Badger coach to follow Bielema south to the SEC. Partridge had served as associate head coach, co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach in Madison this season.
