Green Bay Packers march to 27-20 win over Lions Sunday

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - For the 21st consecutive time, the Green Bay Packers beat the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field, winning 27-20 Sunday night.

Despite being run over and down 14-0 to the Lions (4-9) in the first half, the Packers took advantage of several turnovers and found their running game in earning sole possession of first place in the NFC North division. That's after the Chicago Bears (8-5) were beaten by the Vikings (7-6) in Minnesota earlier in the day.

Defensive lineman Mike Daniels returned a Matthew Stafford fumble 43 yards for a touchdown, as the ball slipped out of Stafford's right hand.

The Packers (9-4) then got a strong drive to open the second half, as quarterback Aaron Rodgers scored on a 27-yard run. Rodgers finished the game 14-of-24 for 173 yards.

Packers running back DuJuan Harris, in his first game wearing green and gold, rushed for 31 yards on seven carries, including a 14 yard TD.

The Packers have won their 9th game in their last 13. The Lions have now lost 5 straight.
