The Green Bay Gamblers swept a two game set against the Indiana Ice at the Resch Center this weekend, winning 7-4 on Friday night and 6-3 on Saturday night. The Gamblers (11-9-3) have climbed into third place in the USHL's Eastern Conference after a slow start to the season, going 9-2-1 in their last 12 games. Green Bay erupted for five goals in the third period, three on the power play Friday night and on Saturday night, got a pair of first period goals from Kevin Irwin with Kyle Novak adding a shorthanded goal and three assists in the victory. Green Bay returns to the Resch on Friday night, hosting Des Moines.
