MERRILL, Wis (WSAU) – Lincoln County's mobile home park is back in code after passing inspections this summer.

The White Birch Park had been in danger of losing their certification with the state back in May after repeated attempts to contact the owners for an inspection failed. But Lincoln County health officer Shelly Hersil says they're once again cooperating. “It was after your last broadcast actually, that we got them talking again.”

The park is under new ownership within the family, and Hersil says efforts are being made to get everything back up to proper specifications. “Right now they've got a conditional license until everything is where it needs to be, but they're making good progress.”

Hersil says it could be some time though, since the problems at the park had been building up over some time, and it's going to take some time to get them all handled. “I think within the next few months they'll get it all handled, and then we can reissue their permanent permit.”
