APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) - An Appleton woman is going to prison for seven years after being convicted Monday of first-degree reckless homicide in the death of a teenage boy.
38-year-old Sheila M. Smith sold her prescription medication, methadone, to another woman, who sold it to 18-year-old Jordan Rowe.
Rowe was found dead the next day.
42-year-old Kristi L. Schounard was also charged in the case; she goes to trial November 30.
