HOUSTON, TX (WTAQ) - Former Packers Defensive Lineman Johnny Jolly was sentenced to six years in prison Thursday for violating terms of his probation on a 2008 drug charge. Jolly was stopped while driving in his hometown of Houston, TX on October 1st. Deputies found codeine, a controlled substance, in his truck. The 6-3, 325 pound lineman was on probation stemming from a 2008 charge of possessing codeine. Jolly missed the 2010 Championship Season after being indefinitely suspended by the NFL the year before. After getting credit for time served, Jolly could be eligible for parole in 14 months.
