OSHKOSH, WI (WATQ) - An Oshkosh-based Wisconsin Army National Guard unit is readying to deploy to Kuwait early next year.  Lieutenant Colonel Jackie Guthrie says around 130 member of the 1157^th Transportation Company are preparing to help move equipment out of Iraq.  The Untied States Army is drawing down troops, and will be gone by the end of the year.  The last time the unit was deployed was in 2006.  They spent a year in Iraq escorting, moving fuel and other supplies.
