MILWAUKEE (WSAU) Frontier Airlines plans to cut another 120 jobs in Milwaukee.
The firm's parent company, Republic Airways, told state officials the layoffs would take place between January 6th-and-13th. Jobs will be cut from both Frontier's maintenance facility in Oak Creek, and its terminal at Mitchell International. The layoffs will affect a range of workers from customer servcice agents to material service managers.
Earlier Frontier said it would cut over 210 jobs in Milwaukee between November 14th-and-23rd.
The new layoffs would leave Frontier with a Milwaukee force of just under 900 -- down from 1,200 in September. Republic said this week it's considering a possible sale of Frontier, which started in Milwaukee when Republic acquired the former Midwest Airlines in 2009.
