CRIVITZ, Wis. (WTAQ) - A fire at an apartment building in Crivitz has sent at least thirteen people to the hospital.

Fire crews get the call around 4 a.m. Wednesday to Oakwood Haven Apartments on Fritzie Avenue. Officials say everyone got out of the building, but as of 7 a.m. were still working on putting out the flames.

Officials indicate the injuries are minor, mostly smoke inhalation. No word on what caused the blaze.

An emergency shelter has been set up at the Village Hall. 13 people are now without a home.
